Hypothetical: ISIS crosses the US border and attacks

Just read this from the NYT

Let's say they cross and blow up a vehicle here, is the border immediately sealed? Are thousands of troops sent to the border? What would be the play?

That's what you get when a worthless federal government refuses to secure the nations border. A government that will send it's own young men to die fighting in shitholes like Iraq and spend billions of dollars there refuses to protect the sovereignty of it's own borders. This makes me furious.

Talk about blowing your wad too soon. Would immediately get our defenses up and completely squander their "element of surprise". Repubs should do this themselves if they are really serious about getting the country behind them on boarder security.

It's easy to joke about his golf schedule etc., but it would more than likely be a very chaotic situation. Troops would be sent immediately and all incoming traffic/trucks/border crossers triple screened. Border crossings would be at a standstill, rumbles of impeachment would be forthcoming and CNN/FOX/MSNBC would rehash old new stories of "what we should've done" rabble rabble

i doubt they would blow it up. the administration is using OUR tax dollars to send these guys all over the country. they will prob just get on the bus with all the other criminals we're letting in. why go boom in the desert when we're offering to bring them right to our schools/hospitals/malls?
