I too don't recall the price for a solar pool heater. There may still be a state tax credit for using alternative energy source to heat the pool (fed didn't allow a tax credit for pools and hot tubs).

For me, the best thing about the solar pool heater isn't being able to swim in February without body parts turning blue but to swim in cool water in the depth of summer, I run it at night and it cools the water by allowing the heat to radiate out of the collection grids.

Try to do that with a NG heater.

But then you have to have those ugly arse solar panels on your roof to look at...

Travertine.

Will be a "salt" water pool.

Where are you located?

I've heard it referred to as a "zero entry" pool as well.

Yeah I know it's travertine. What color?

Noce.

I recommend that you take several color samples that you like and lay them out by the pool at different times of the day. Don't make a decision right away, because what you like today might not be what you like tomorrow.

I rent out my old house pretty close to your location, though.

You're more than welcome to come by and take a look at my pool for yourself.

I have several tile samples here at my house.

That noce looks a lot lighter than the samples. The search continues.....

It took us several weeks to decide.

Good luck in your search!

May take you up on that. Probably looks completely different in person.

It does. The latest pictures that I uploaded this morning didn't come out how I would have liked. Very foggy right now.

No, that's for sure.

However, the price that I received from my pool contractor was very fair when compared to others that bid on the same exact pool specifications.
