I love it.

Gets me out of having to be tied down at my in-laws house that night for Thanksgiving.

Not a fan but at least it gives me an opportunity to watch the game with my brother who usually comes in just for thanksgiving day

After thinking about it a little more I guess Thanksgiving gives more people a chance to watch the game, some people including myself have had to work on black Friday during the game, so I guess it can be a good thing

The Federation could care less about "Yalls" personal Thanksgiving/Family plans, nor does LSU, A+M or the SEC.

It's an A+M home game and they play on Thanksgiving, so deal with it and stfu.

Next season in BR, the game will be played on TG, Friday or Saturday NIGHT, which is so much more favorable to the majority of the LSU fan base than that god awful Friday afternoon game against Arkansas.

It's being played on Thanksgiving night because it's an Aggie "tradition." A&M used to play Texas on Thanksgiving when they were in the Big XII. Alleva said that the years the game is played in BR that it would not be on Thanksgiving, but he never said it would be played on Saturday night. I look for us to be back at 1:30 on Black Friday. If that happens, then we gave in to the Aggies (and I'm sure we were pressured by the SEC to an extent) and got nothing in return.

I hate it.

I hate it because I have some family who live there, so I would have a guaranteed ticket everytime we play the Aggies in College Station, and as much as I'd love to go to the game, I'm not going to pass up some good meals with the family, and four days to hunt.

From a coach/player view point, I think it's a good thing for LSU. I really don't see A&M fans being totally into the game. Most people attending the game will do their Thanksgiving dinner then head to the stadium. Not your typical Saturday game day experience...kinda like our Friday games with Arky.

As far as TV goes, our game is going head-to-head with San Fran/Seattle...not sure how that will do ratings wise.

I think it absolutely sucks for many reasons.

I wish they would just play our game on Saturday.

I live in Houston, but my family is still in LA -- so I spend most holidays in LA -

I don't see any way to do both with a Thanksgiving night game.

I'd love to go -- but probably wouldn't choose going to the game over spending Thanksgiving with family.

I like it. For the first time there will not be a break in practice routine and emotion like there has been for the Friday and Saturday games against AR. IMO that has been a reason for the poor LSU performances against AR. LSU doesn't play the week before so getting the team ready should be much easier. I wish they played the game at LSU the same way.

Actually a part of the things that TX A&M wanted was that Thanksgiving Day Game against LSU so they could give U of TX the one finger salute. So the SEC told A&M they would give it to them as soon as possible.

I'm fine with it. It's funny how the same fans who wanted to replace Arkansas with Texas A&M are bitching about this.

Fine as long as it's a road game and doesn't take away an important open date earlier in the season.

Since I am a Cowboys fan, it gives me a game to watch on Thanksgiving again.
