Animal House
Caddyshack

I can't not watch those two when they're on.

Next round:
Sunshine Boys
Odd Couple
Young Frankenstein
Stripes

Hard to turn the channel on those. They end up on my DVR.

People have thrown out most of Mel Brook's movies, which is good to see because they were damn funny. Honestly I've never laughed harder at a movie then History of the World Part One's "And the ape stood... and became man." bit.

What is a funny movie that has sort of faded into the background is Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation. Jimmy Stewart in the most anti-family family comedy ever made.

Watch the movie to see Stewart declare "Look... its.. its... a pygmy. Its a white pygmy." Stay to see him describe his grandson as "You little creep."

No Black Dynamite?

Well

Black Dynamite
Harold and Kumar (1 and 2)
Young Frankenstein
High Anxiety

and one of my favorites movies which is a huge sports parody is The Comebacks.

Also enjoy Stepbrothers, Sex Drive, Scary Movie, Anchorman, The Jerk, MEN IN TIGHTS!

Then maybe Blazing Saddles, and Tucker and Dale

Never laughed harder than I did at South Park. I thought I was going to pass out during the fart solo.

But comedy itself isn't built to last. The one with the most staying power for me is Idiocracy. There's so much to take in and I get something new every time I watch it. Sociologically speaking, it should be required viewing for everyone, everywhere.

What I mean is that you can't laugh as hard at the same jokes over and over again. You still think it's funny, but it doesn't have the same impact that it did when you first saw it.
