Kind of what I was getting at. The other thread turned into atheist bashing. Christians would be up in arms if players were promoting atheism or islam on their helmets.

The huge majority of CFB players were atheist or Muslim, I bet the backlash would decrease.

1- Tiger Woods not being relevant

2 - The entire Ray Rice bull shite

3 - Selection Committee

4 - Floyd Meriweather

5 - Sports media in general

5 - 2 = 3

Actually, we don't give a frick about that either.

this. Especially since there is a board specifically for that purpose.

Added: Sports "journalists" like Peter King and Bill Plaschke. There are plenty I don't like but I loathe those 2 in particular.

1. Roger Goodell
2. The "newsworthiness" of BACKUP QUARTERBACK Johnny Manziel
3. The people conned into believing that Oregon is the best team in the country AGAIN. For the TENTH YEAR IN A ROW or whatever

To be fair, this could be Oregon's year. I think Helfrich is out of his league but maybe he isn't, and I don't see a dominant team in CFB. Oregon has just as good a chance as anyone, and they have the best player in the land IMO.

With the NFL,..an example last night, when Upshaw hit Ben, but gets flagged because of the way he was hit. I don't think there should be a running into the punter penalty. It's like they are trained to flop, I know it's player protection..but the guys know the risks and are paid very well for it.

Things like "The Jimmy Graham rule", I can understand a celebration becoming over the top, fine the individual, don't flag the entire team. Let the offender decide if they want to pay a fine, and allow the fine to be paid to a charity. And build stronger goal posts.

I don't care where Michael Sam plays.

Wish with a football sports package, you can choose to have sub channels dedicated to each team you want to know more news on, replays, interviews etc.

can you imagine the outrage from Christians if a team put a fish with legs on their helmet?

Why would a team do that?

Yea too bad I'm not a Louisiana resident. Did I say I hated atheists? No. I hate the FFRF. I'm not a Christian dude, I just think this foundation is ridiculous.

Sports analyst bitching about Goodell like they know all the facts.

The NFL on Thursday Nights without a bye week for the teams the week before.

The decreased amount of stolen bases and bunt for hits in MLB.

1) The new rules in the NFL and inconsistency of the officiating.

2) Preseason AP/College polls

3) The buddy buddy crap in the NBA. Miss the days where these players hated each other on the court.

Right now all of my hatred is directed at the NFL.

1. I understand the whole protecting the head issue, and it absolutely needs to be enforced. But the refs aren't accurate enough to call it on the field. It's not their fault, the game moves to fast to decide exactly where a player was hit and how AND watch for other referee responsibilities. That's fine, it should be a booth decision after they've had a chance to watch the play and see intent and in slow motion.

2. TV timeouts. I can't prove it as I didn't time it, but it felt like the last 3 minutes of the half in last nights game took a half hour. Maybe it's because there wasn't another game to check in on when it went to commercials but it just felt like a LOT of commercials for very little football last night.

3. Roger Goodell/Ray Rice/Michael Sam/Johnny Manziel/Josh Gordon/Richie Incognito/etc - I don't care about off-field crap. I'm tired of the media acting like the drama off the field is more important than what happens on it. Should the Redskins change their name? I think so, but I don't want to hear about for weeks on end on ESPN. I hope Michael Sam eventually makes it on a team, but I hope that for every player that wants to play and not everyone can, I don't need to hear about it for months and months with hourly updates.

1. ESPN or any other sport leading headlines that make you form an opinion by reading the title. Ex: Rory says Tiger and Phil are "just getting old." The article said they are getting older and have 5-10 playing years left. That is just fact! But if you read the headline he's slamming them.

2. ESPN's constant influx of random people's opinions. I don't really give a shite about Herm Edwards opinion on who will win the super bowl. Not informative or entertaining.

3. Golden Tate

You are aware that FFRF stands for freedom from religion right? This is America and I think that is a good thing.

1) incessant and relentless commercials
2) commercials
3) commercials

1. The way that people continue to bring up their fantasy team - especially on major issues like the Ray Rice or the Adrian Peterson stories.

2. Roger Goodell

3. The overly PC sports media - everything from not saying "Redskins" to castigating people who don't march lockstep with their social interpretation of sports topics. IE: Deadspin, Chris Kluwe, Peter King.

The fact that athletes are probably the most admired people in the country (esp by kids) and so many of them are such poor role models

The number of commercials

Fans that don't keep sports in perspective
