If political bias is the new standard for spam then we won't be able to link to any news site going forward.

He ( Obama ) only called 9/11 a tragedy because of the deaths of the 19 trrrorists.

Didn't watch, but read the first page. Was there something outrageous that I didn't get to? What I saw was pretty benign.

Well, he immediately places his particular apologist ideology on a direct tragedy. Imagine your wife is murdered, and someone said (and I quote)

quote:

We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.
Even if that's 100% true (which it ain't, that doesn't explain all madness in the world), how the frick do you say that to your country right after a tragedy? After an attack like that, buildings bombed, and 3,000 murdered, all he wants to do is rationalize. The guy is a pure apologist. His sympathies lie with Muslims and not with America. Period.
