Grace Potter might have something to do with the increase

but yea, I'd skip it.

All those Benjamins you drop every weekend, and you're bitching about $99?

Great food, bourbon, beer, good music, cigars...

Seems like an awesome event to me. I'd drop 99 for a night like that.

As these events get popular as all hell, they keep raising prices.
Worst instance I know of with the charity bad value event is the Royal Street Stroll during NOWFE.

You had all of August to get tickets for $75. New Orleans is a last minute town. It drives people who put on special events absolutely insane.

Its still a pretty good deal for the amount of food and drink one can sample in a 4 hour time frame

I'd love to go to this event, but I wouldn't be willing to spend more than $50 on it. $99 is absurd in my opinion.

Last year the crowds were miserable. They need to cap tickets, but its a charity event so that will never happen. Next best thing is move to the bigger venue.

I did it last year and it was $100. The crowd was crazy too. I remember waiting around 30 min in line to get in.
