I used to order white wine spritzers, but every time I did that, the flight would divert to Fire Island for some reason.

Whatever their best brown is and ginger
If I'm really mixing it up I order a White Russian which most stewards and stewardesses don't know how to make.

Sadly my last few international flights no longer offered free alcohol(coach), but if OT first class I think they still give out.
ETA: Went to a seminar at Tales two years ago on the role of alcohol in airfare. It was a really cool seminar about the drinks and drinking culture that developed in conjunction with the use of airlines as mode of transport.

Beware Seagram's ginger ale....it now has artificial sweeteners. I ended up with a vacation ruining two-day migrane thanks to the poorly labeled Seagram's ginger ale. A couple years ago, the company swapped out the sugar for sucralose. I think everything with sugar substitutes should have big fat logos/labels.

I'll never, ever understand the love for Crown. Then to make it even more sickeningly sweet with a soft drink.
Anyway, I rarely drink when I fly these days. If so, maybe scotch and soda.
