Score too quickly got to the point at which there wasn't the cushion to allow for freshman mistakes. He will see action the next couple of weeks.

Because the one series he had was a complete failure

Stop asking stupid questions

I'm glad he didn't go back into the game. We probably would have lost.

That, by itself, wouldn't have justified sitting him for the entire game. If LSU had gone up by 3 TDs, you'd have seen him in there getting experience. As it was, AJ was the clear choice. Harris will be fine--hell, he'll be terrific. But he needs experience.

Redshirts are obsolete at LSU, unless you are Oline or there is a an injury.

If you aren't good enough to go pro by your senior year, then there's a good chance that there's somebody better than you on the roster.

Miles hasn't settled on a QB

It sure seemed to me the QB issue was totally settled Sat. Night, and I was initially all Team Harris.

Miles' plan was to play both. He didn't expect to be down 24-7. Jennings at the time was his best option. Harris will play much more these next few games. He's still the guy the coaches want to be the starter down the road but they are doing it the right way. Jennings was not impressive but did make some good throws. Both of these guys will get better. I feel sorry for Sam Houston St.

going back and watching that series, the offensive line not blocking their man isn't exactly brandon harris' fault.

wouldn't you agree?

You speak for most of the fan base that is reactionary and not considerate of anything but the current moment.

Two hand offs and an unblocked sack?

For someone who lacks a great deal of common sense you speak with so much authority.

He will get good experience in a few games this year.

yep, and some bad communication from the sidelines getting the play in.

but 3 snaps from under center and the majority of LSU fans have written him off like they have written off fournette.

it truly is amazing

I speak for myself only; and I believe what my eyes tell me. Harris was not ready to take charge.

If you predicted six losses that is your opinion, not mine.

And you base this off of 3 plays...2 being hand offs and one being a blind side, unblocked sack.

Think about that for a second...

I am glad Jennings stayed in the game, but as Harris gets more experience this year, he will prove to be the better QB. 3 plays doesn't change that.

I think he could redshirt if he didn't play past that last snap he took, by saying he got injured. But, practically, they are already seperated by a year, and are the only 2 qbs so I don't don't think they even try. He will see time the next few weeks.

i think his ceiling is higher for sure. the staff will roll with jennings until he gives them a reason not to.

more second half jennings and less first half jennings and LSU will be very good on offense

I think Harris will be a very good QB eventually; right now I think the job is Jennings and I think it will be for quite a while, so you and I will just have to disagree.
