Oh come on, we were wanting Asik for over a year.

Most Pelicans fans who aren't just fricking with you guys (which from what I can gather is astoundingly easy - y'all are quite sensitive) freely admit that Harden is a top SG in the league.

We just don't have that inherent bias that can only come from rooting for one's home team, so his glaring defensive issues are easier for us to address.

Reasonable Rockets fans will tell you the same. But the Pelicans fans on here that are constantly trying to troll are like the Texas A&M fans of the MSB, you never know if they are serious

I enjoy most of your posting, but obviously being a Louisiana board there are more Pelican trolls on here.

Seeing the reaction to us missing out this offseason you would have thought they were having a Pelicans Board championship parade on Canal st

First off, I never said it was a "successful" off-season. I just don't think it's a disaster like many here are saying.

Secondly, who knows when a trade will happen. It may not be before the season starts.

But a trade will happen at some point. It's fairly obvious what Morey is doing right now in my opinion.

Picked up Jason Terry's $5.8 million contract and two early 2nd round picks for non-guaranteed contracts. He may not even be done consolidating the roster.

Before the February trade deadline, he'll package Terry ($5.8) with Papanikolaou ($4.8), a young player like Nick Johnson, Clint Capela, or Isaiah Canaan, and the protected 1st round Pelicans pick, and 2nd round pick(s) for a PG or PF.

I'll bump this thread to say I told you so.
