Trying to understand the media/lib stance on the ferguson stuff..

Since the rioting started, we've discovered the innocent child had just robbed a store, the cop was attacked and had a busted-up eye which would surely imply he feared for his life, and the autopsy shows the kid was shot from the front which contradicts some eyewitness accounts that he was running away when shot? No matter your political views or race how could you look at this so far and conclude that brown was a victim? Honestly curious.

more importantly, how can a group that is disproportionately targeted by the police, support a system where we indict and convict without evidence or a burden of proof? if that system hurts anybody, it's that group of people

Spot on.

The key eyewitness for the family is the accessor to robbery, which still hasn't been charged after admitting to it.
The whole thing shows you how far we have sunk in such a short period of time with these hacks controlling our government. The only thing that makes sense to me is that this is the perfect deflection of Obama getting his arse handed to him on the world stage. Nothing better than a race war at home to deflect the negative attention abroad.

Their position re: police brutality and militarization is similar to the position many so called libertarians had here not too long ago. Funny how things change.

This is not a case of either. The cop shot him with a sidearm and evidence points towards a struggle. Unlike some, we don't blanket our points to all scenarios when they do not apply.

It's not supposed to make any sense. It's all meant for the reason of affecting the emotions and screwing up the brain.
JMHO.

bullshite. The interaction between Brown and the officer was plain old-fashioned low rent criminal behavior, responded to appropriately.

You know how.

The media is trying to recreate Selma in 1964. They are all too young to have been there but are trying to convince themselves and you that they are part of something just as significant.

There is something to this.

I'm still waiting for all the evidence on the initial confrontation. However, the police response to what happened afterward is a textbook example of the concerns many of us have about police overreach and overreaction. It's a miracle somebody hasn't been killed out there yet. Did you see the cop pointing the AR 15 at journalists saying, "I'll fricking kill you!?" That guy was totally out of control. Who was the real danger out there, the protestors or some nut waving a rifle around?
I'll also say that this is a town of about 20k. A few hundred people were in the street, and a few stores were looted. That's wrong, and it should be stopped. However, the whole town isn't burning down, there's no sign of it spreading, either in the St Louis area or elsewhere, seemingly to the disappointment of some on both sides who would like this to be about something bigger.
Widespred Riots were predicted if Obama won and if he lost. They didn't happen, and they're not happening here.

There are now reports that this person is recanting his story.
We were told that MB was 'shot in the back.' Now we know that was false.
If it comes out that the 'eye witness' is recanting his story, will the left-wing media ignore it or run with the story?

Maybe it's not a miracle and the police are generally acting more professionally than displayed by the media.

There's no doubt in my mind they will ignore it.

All they have left is the 'six shot' meme, but that is enough to continue with their narrative - pathetic.
