Well none of the information any of us has is official. If this cop was involved in an illegal killing,he should pay i just don't want him to be found guilty to appease the public

Well if this is true it's news to me. The last I heard (and granted I'm traveling this week) the kid had his hands up in surrender and was shot at a considerable distance. It was expressed in such a way that I had come to believe this was almost an indisputable fact. I apologize and admit I'm wrong if new credible evidence negates what I had initially believed.

The only fact is that the public has only been exposed to some pieces of evidence regarding the shooting and these pieces are being spun by people on both sides to fit their narrative. The investigation needs to be completed and if the officer is guilty, then he should be punished. But we don't know yet.

Autopsy report shows hands were down. The shots are to the front of the arm not the back of the arm. As if someone's hands were raised. No shots in the back.

That's the problem in this investigation. Someone with no credibility made the claim of hands up execution and the nations media and black community ran with it.

However the facts in the case as they have been released which has been terribly executed still show what appears to be a justifiable homicide on the part of the cops. The autopsies proved at least to me the hands up execution did not happed. All physical evidence and even some eye witness testimony shows Brown the aggressor that took 6 shots to put down.

if by "railroaded" you mean "fired for killing an unarmed man who was raising his hands in surrender and who was no longer an immediate threat to anybody" than yes. He will be "railroaded".

Link?

I love to see where that has been shown.

An unarmed man was shot and killed from a distance at which it's undeniable that he posed no threat to the officer who fired the fatal shots. That's clearly grounds for termination - and probably criminal charges. These are facts - I invite you to dispute any of them.

How many feet away was Mike Brown from the officer? Do you know that someone 20ft away from you can get to you before you can unholster a weapon? Most use of force policies use 20-23 ft as a zone for someone with a knife.

My first thought was that he would be railroaded. I knew the evidence was going to come out and show that MB was facing him at the time and possibly charging him..... Although I'm starting to really think about it and it sorta pisses me off that an unarmed man was shot 6 times with many being in the head/neck area. May have been a little over kill.... I hope justice is served and the right call is made, whatever that may be

OK spidertard.

A punk walks into a store and steals some cigars to mix in with his weed. In the process of a crime, store confronts the thief only to be 'strong-armed'.
As the punk and his thug buddy are walking down the middle of the street, the officer asks them to get out of the MIDDLE of the road and onto the sidewalk.

The thug doesn't like to be told what to do by 'da man' punches the officer, breaking his eye-socket then tries to steal the officers weapon which a shot is discharged.

The punk runs away and then thinks to himself, 'I'll be damned if I let this white cracker pig tell me what to do. I am taking this cracker down.'

Officer perceives his life is in danger and there is evidence that officer fired a warning shot( bullet from the officers weapon was found in the wall of an adjacent home to the scene). The punk, despite the warning shot, continues to charge the officer.

Officer has no choice other than to protect himself from a potentially deadly scene.

Got that spider? Doubtful but go create another alter...

Its hard to second guess an officer in that situation when you don't know what's on someone's mind when they are charging you even when you have your weapon drawn on them. ETA I really don't think this officer was aiming for the head. Just shooting for center mass.

so ferguson burns to the ground? ... the locals won't care since they don't want businesses there anyway ...

win/win for everybody ... 'cept the cop who shot the unarmed, belligerent, thieving thug who charged and tried to take his gun ...

I missed the part where the officer's eye socket got busted up.... This true?

Also the warning shot. Is this what is thought to have happen? Sure it wasn't just a missed shot? He didn't seem to be the best shot with most going left

Fair enough. The rush to judgement has been insane in this case. If the cop is proven to be criminal, he should be treated like one. But the media and folks on the internet have been irresponsible here. Example:

First stories I heard were he was running away and shot in the back at a distance. Now that evidence contradicts that, the line is "but hewas 30 feet away!!!! How could he be a threat?"

Well, IF another version I've heard is true, a man charging at me from 10 yards can be pretty threatening indeed, especially if he had just fractured my orbital bone and tried to take my gun.

Don't know what version (if either) is true, but I'll wait to decide whether to be outraged. Wish others would do the same.

What I am saying is the Political Board doesn't have a great track record for calling riots.
