Those high waisted jeans that are tight do a hell of a lot better job of showing off a nice arse.

Definitely support.

The '80s were better because it was atime of personal interaction. At this point, technology has taken over and society has suffered as a result. The '50s appear to have been awesome, but technology was too lacking. In the '80, everything was in balance. And the decade was predominantly about fun and success - and an excess of both. Hell, even hip hop/rap was about fun back then.

I don't know I actually preferred what life was like before cell phones and social media took over.

It was much more fun to be a kid back then, though. Everyone played outside, parents and and schools were much less strict, the drinking age was 18

I think a lot of the deal with kids playing outside is people hauling arse through neighborhoods. In the 80s when I was a kid you might get the occasional high schooler hauling arse and neighbors usually confronted them. Now young adults and old adults haul arse going 40+ mph while texting, driving down a neighborhood. Parents like me now days keep kids in the backyard and don't let them get in the front yard, though mine are just 2 and 4 y/o.

No, back then most of the mothers didn't work. Kids were home and not at a day care center. Not to mention there wasn't 24/7 media trying to scare the shite out of everyone.

The music and movies were awesome during the 80's. The 80's were a great decade. No one knew what you were doing all of the time and no one cared.

Kids played outside all of the time and the cop's were the good guys, you actually had to plan to meet up with your friends at an agreed on spot and then hang out all day until the sun went down with no cell phones .

America was on top of the world and we were all proud of it.

No.

Cars were crap in the 80s.
1984 Corvette:
Published Performance Numbers
Acceleration 205 hp, 4-speed automatic

1/4-mile, second @ mph
15.5 @ 88

I back out of my driveway faster than that.

Women:
Too much bush. (Google is your friend)

Reagan took over in 1980, so there's that.

Overlapping doesn't count...those had their best years during the 80's. Bands like Aerosmith...you just can't define to a certain decade.

I disagree 100%. It has created a dangerous path of least resistance, and morals, honesty and ethics have taken a back seat.
