Sheriff's deputies said they arrested a man accused of his fourth DWI Wednesday night after he informed deputies that he was "too drunk" to pass sobriety tests.
Andrew Ellisor, 23, of Central was arrested around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 6 after a member of the Delta Drug Task Force saw his car speeding and weaving from side to side on LA 3034.
When asked to step out of his vehicle, authorities said Ellisor stumbled around, had glassy eyes and smelled strongly of alcohol. When asked where he was headed, the man said he was coming his girlfriend's house with slurred speech, according to deputies.
Ellisor said he had "too much" and "too many" when a deputy asked him if he was drinking that night. He refused a sobriety test and informed law enforcement that he was "too drunk to pass any tests".
Deputies said they found a cup of an alcoholic beverage in his car which was identified as Jägermeister by Ellisor.
Ellisor was taken to the East Baton Rouge Central Substation for testing, but he refused.
The man's record revealed three prior DWI arrests including two arrests in Texas in Nov. of 2011 and June of this year. He was also arrested in Mandeville in Aug. of 2012 and was driving with an invalid license.
Ellisor was taken to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and booked on charges of fourth offense DWI, improper lane usage and open container.
He was also charged with public intimidation for threatening to have the arresting deputy fired while being transported to the parish jail.

Yup. Unfortunately it doesn't work the other way. Had a buddy get arrested and when they were booking him asked him where he worked. Following his answer the cop laughed and said "not anymore".

No different than me saying you're going to get fired for arresting me? The point is while both are insulting, they aren't equitable because of who is on the receiving end. And that isn't right.
