I really liked this guy's measurables coming out of JUCO. I believe he is going into his last year of eligibility and people aren't projecting him as a starter or even top 4 WR?
Did I miss something? Or he just hasn't panned out?

I asked about him a week or so ago. Most told me that he was a projected starter, but I'm not seeing that anywhere else except on this board. I had high hopes for the kid

I don't think that cat has gained an ounce since he's been here.

This time last year LSU fans were throwing his name out constantly when trash talking on the SEC Rant. Everyone assumed he was the next Cordarrelle Patterson.
He just doesn't pass the eyeball test for me. Regardless, the WR position is loaded with guys looking for a shot. Even if he gets on the field in a 4 or 5 wide set there is no guarantee the QB will even look his way.

Football isn't exactly a top priority for him. He has more important things on his plate.

At this point we will be happy with a poor man's version of D Byrd.

He had a great spring and was penciled in as the starter after that. But in fall camp, we've heard way more about other guys like Dupre, Diarse, and Peterson.
He's definitely in the rotation. I think the following players will play a substantial amount this season (obviously a fluid situation). The fact that I'm listing 6 is a very good thing.
Dural
Dupre
Diarse
Peterson
Leslie
Quinn

The main reason I pay little attention to the hype for our top recruits: When we landed him, people here talked about Q. Leslie like he was the one missing link that LSU needed for a championship.

Yeah, if you liked this guy's measurables, then yes, you missed something. Specifically, you missed that he's like 90 lbs.

Leslie only has plays from the secret playbook.

I saw him at the union...he's so skinny. hot damn

I thnk he's the WR4 right now...
It was Dural, Diarse, and Dupre running wth the 1s in practice. Dupre has been banged up and missed a few practices and it was QL that filled in for him. So I'm guessing he's the WR4 as of now.
And I do think he stays in the mix for PT this year and plays a bit. But some of the young WRs will move up the depth chart once they get used to the system and college football (Quinn, Chark, Spears) and they wil jump most of the other guys we have, but I think QL stays relevant and still sees PT.
