Not sure what app my husband uses on his phone for GPS but it works very well.(he has a windows phone)

Having Waze pop up and tell me police ahead, Object on road ahead, etc... is quite awesome.

And it is free.

I almost got creamed merging onto I-10 a couple months ago. Idiot in the other car wasn't even looking at the road. She was too busy staring at her flip phone and texting.

I wish vehicles had cell phone jammers that were activatd when engine is running.
