This whole thread is hilarious because Red Lobster is going to do almost everything that is suggested in it before it goes out of business.

Red Lobster was a scapegoat for my argument. I haven't been since they shot up the old one off Florida Blvd.

The last time I went to Red Lobster I got a Transformer toy that same day. I played with it at the table. That was probably around like '95 or something. I probably ordered off the kid menu, so I probably had fish sticks and hush puppies.

Almost the same as Peche, really.

Brah, we know you're older than I am. You were probably like 17 or 18. In 95 I was 8.

Also, in the Reddit thread that posted this, people who used to work at Red Lobster were mentioning how Red Lobster actually attempted a "fresh fish" menu. It was lighter broiled fish that was decent quality (supposedly). But no one ordered it and it went to waste.

Not at the one I worked at a few years ago. We seemed to sell a lot of it. Also it was more than just broiled. You could also get most of the fish grilled, blackened, or fried (although we were supposed to advise against frying most of the fresh fish).

90% of RL's food is fried because that's what people want and what they order.

No it's not. Sure they sell a lot of things like popcorn shrimp that is fried, but it is nowhere near 90%.

And for the record I rarely ate there before I worked there and have only eaten there once since I left. Never have been a big seafood fan, but money is money

Why again is this unfortunate? Does it really affect anyone how strangers celebrate their special occasions?

Thank you.

That was a really shitty contribution to an otherwise robust debate.

Thanks.

Martini said everything that needs to be said. You're talking about transformers.

Relax, twat.

I live in Louisiana. There is no point in going to a Red Lobster. That is like overpaying for mediocre seafood when you can get great seafood just about everywhere cheaper (excluding gw fins etc)

Well he's right. You gave the standard NOLA >>>>BR, the transformer and the dig at the dude that had Hushpuppies and fish sticks at Peche. Not much else.

I was very much enjoying the back and forth y'all had going there. Good argument and you both never stooped to petty wise cracks or personal digs. Nice job.

Kind of like that dig you took at me unnecessarily on the OT and never came back to defend?
