TigerinATL made a good point on PT, Davis should be able to take care of Pau:

I'd go with Klay Thompson starting and have Harden as instant offense off the bench. Harden is better dominating the ball.

I want Damian Lillard on the team because I want Big Game Dame in clutch time.

Rose
Thompson
George
Durant
Davis

To start.

My crunch time 5

Lillard
Harden
George
Durant
Davis

So the first day of camp, the "starting roster" playing together was:

Rose
Harden
George
Durant
Anthony Davis

The lane will be wide open when USA is on offense. Rose & Harden, or any set of guards, will live in the lane with that line up.

AD bitched slap Pau each time we played

AD 25pts 11reb 2.3blks
Pau 17 10 1blk

In the last game Pau had 29 12 1

1st-9 11 1
2nd-14 8 1

wow longhorn. you are a sick frick you know that?

Unlike many many other NBA USA born superstars DRose is actually fulfilling his obligation to play for his country despite coming off multiple knee surgeries in the last 2 years.

More power to him. IMO.

I've been thru 2 ACL's myself and I wouldn't wish that pain, hours of rehab, and the permanent damage to a major joint like that on my worst enemy, even of a POS like you.

I can't help but hate the Pistons for picking Drummond at #9.

In all seriousness, when they start talking defense, do they just let Harden go shoot jumpshots on the other side of the court?

Pau is the least of our worries when it comes to Spain's bigs if Spain's coach actually lets Ibaka play this time.

A front line of Ibaka and Marc Gasol defensively is scary.

They are showing training camp on NBAtv right now fwiw.

Yes it is. With Pau coming off the bench...that is legit.

They have a very legit roster from top to bottom.

And this being IN SPAIN...yeah, they could give us a run for our money no doubt.

Watching on NBAtv right now.... Coach K loves him some AD

And yea Pau isn't what we need to worry about with Spain... It's Marc and Ibaka.

And I like either 1 of Cousins / Drummond with AD. And I actually think Cousins could play some PF alongside Drummond as well, when AD needs a breather or something. He's got the game and range to play the PF.

Great seeing Rose out there.... But Thibs has got me to nervous watching him out there I know I would be.

And I would love to see DeRozan out there at the 2 alongside Rose, George, KD, and AD. Dude is a freak and would be nearly impossible for teams to match up with on the international level as a 2. Great size and freakish athleticism at the 2.

Has it crossed NBATVs minds that we tuned in to SEE guys play basketball?

Is it necessary for cameras to be trained on guys getting interviewed while basketball is going on in the background?

Yeah, but he basically said it was to even the big men out on both squads.

Colangelo seemed really adamant about taking plenty big men to the tourney, though. I know most people assume we'll go small, but with the way Colangelo was talking, I think its safe to assume both Drummond and Boogie make the team.

Do yall think that its awkward for Monty and KD out there? Remember when Monty was yelling at KD from the bench a few years ago?

Monty and AD getting some work in....
