And they have a guy at camp that is better at than Plumee named Kenneth Farried.

Poor defender and he's not 7 feet tall.

Plumee and Cousin's defensive numbers are pretty similar. Boogie owns him by a large margin in rebounding. He's also a better ball handler, scorer, passer, back to the basket player, etc...

Whoever plays center won't be asked to do much of any of those things.

Kevin Love is Cousins' equal as an offensive player. Go look at how little he had the ball in his hands in the Olympics.

No one's trying to argue that Plumlee > Cousins overall, but they always take specialists for the end of the bench. If they wanted just talent, they would've taken Cousins over AD two years ago.

There is no way Plumlee is picked on the team over Boogie?

K should be shite canned for that decision.

They're not trying to put together an all-star team. They're looking to find pieces that fit together.

Coach K and Colangelo have won the last three major tournaments. I'd say they've earned a little trust.

So, a reserve averaging 7.4 points and 3.8 rebounds a game (Plumlee) over Demarcus’s 22 and 15 stat?

Yea, I think K should be trusted on this decision? I mean how can you question a coach with the #2 pick in the draft going down to Mercer?

The flaw in your argument is that Plumlee is some superior defender to Cousins when he really isn't.

They also have like 30 NBA players at camp this week. Some teams are lucky to have more than 5.

They should never lose a game.

I am actually starting to see his point, especially when you consider that perimeter defense could be a big weakness.

Oh and I think K's titles and consistency far out weight his first round exits. Calling him out for being untrustworthy is ridiculous.

I was saying he's better defensively than Faried. He and Cousins are similar.

Doesn't matter. Any argument supporting Cousins is going to be about all of his skills with the ball. That won't be what this team is looking for out its backup C.

Gee I don't know, maybe because he has 4 championships, the most wins ever, and an international resume of success? Dumbshit. I guess since Cal lost to Robert Morris in the NIT we can forever disregard his coaching opinion on anything.

Don't forget to add the Elite 8, Final 4, Natty, And Runner Up since he took the UK job with the NIT team.

Let's be honest, Plumlee pick is what it is…Hell, Cal would do the same thing by having a Terrance Jones or a Darius Miller on the national team if he was the coach over a Parker.

You would think a UK fan would never bring up early tournament upsets

No the national media is mocking the idea of Plumlee over Boogie just as much.

You make it sound like K chose Shavlik Randolph or something. Plumelee was pretty good last year as a rookie. No he shouldn't be playing over Cousins but your preoccupation with Mason Plumlee is getting out of hand.
