4 episodes in. Pretty awesome but I wouldn't put it up there with GOT (yet). A history brain fart for me, but I don't know the original story of Spartacus, so that makes it better.

Gannicus is the best character on the show, not sure why anyone would skip that season.

Gannicus and Crixus were such great performances, I'm not sure why they aren't casted in every moving involving sword fighting (nohomo)

The wife and I just powered through a rewatch of season one. We watched it and GOTA when they originally aired and then stopped. I think that's when Starz and Netflix severed ties. We always loved the show but I'm nervous to start seasons 2 and 3 that I won't like the replacement. Andy Whitfield was the man as Spartacus! We plan on starting season 2 tonight I hope.

Yea Andy was awesome and the other guy isnt even close to him, but the writing and the show itself stays strong with awesome scenes. Every finale was epic. Took me a season to accept the new Spartacus but its worth it to keep going.

Got-Damn, show is awesome. Through Ep. 8. now. A few observations:
1. Ilithyia appears to be in a constant state of wetness.
2. Not as many dicks as were warned.
3. They (directors, writers, whoever) LOVE titties in the coliseum stands, especially wet, erect ones. I really appreciate this.

I think by season 2 he meant the actual season 2, not the prequel.
Problem with that season was the script. Shouldn't have taken a whole season but no, they wanted to make the killing of glaber the finale. That episode was actually pretty good.
Now the last season was awesome and got better and better as it went.
