Smash burgers and collards and PBR. Left coast is always a bit late.

Don I used to wish you would get a new avatar. After looking at the new one a few weeks I miss the old one.

No liquor for me for a while. Trying to get a 30 yo with metastatic melanoma back from MD Anderson. They put him on hospice and don't expect him to make it through the weekend. We've managed to get hold of a King Air and I put together a transport team from my clinic and family. May have to go at anytime if they can stabilize him enough to make the flight. Insurance won't cover a medflight due to the situation so, we've made our own. He really wants to get back home and we're gonna try like hell to make sure it happens. No appetite. So, powerade and saltines. I got some damn good nurses too to volunteer to go at any hour with us.

Dr. you are doing another great thing for a young family. We have a great group of pilots in Monroe (not far from you) who can probably help . Called Pilots for Patients who provide free trips in their planes to and from M.D. Anderson and other places. Ph. no. Is (318) 322-5112.

Thanks Have never heard of them. I will definitely bookmark. Unfortunately, this isn't an uncommon situation. Sounds like we may not get the chance. I know him though, we may just go bust his arse out. Doctor's orders be damned.

See my edit on ph. No. To (318) 322-5112 . They have made thousands of free flights over last 10 years or so. It's like a ministry for that group of pilots.

Got it and bookmarked. I will definitely keep this number. I think we got the plane covered, but unfortunately, I know it will come in handy later. Now we just have to pray they can stabilize him enough to get him back. Not looking good this evening, but he's a stubborn bastard.
