Just shoot the frickers. I think we should make the death penalty rarer but faster in the cases it is used.

Librals, they hate Death penalty but love abortion. Thats frickingg crazy. I think the guy should have suffered with life in Prison doing hard arse work everyday for the rest of his life. Prison itself should be hell for the animals who go there.

Well unless you are a woman that can do what she wants with her body. Then she can allow a doctor to reach into her body and cut her baby into pieces as it squirms and kicks to stay alive. Or perhaps she might just choose to have it burnt to death with saline solutions?

No. Obviously one of his victims (his ex-gf) suffered quite a bit at his hands before he finally did her and her dad in.

Dude was jacked up on hydromorphone and other sedatives. I doubt he was conscious of anything going on.

"I take comfort knowing today my pain stops, and I said a prayer that on this or any other day you may find peace in all of your hearts and may God forgive you all," Wood said.

To the end, a narcissistic sociopath, and a heartless predator upon good folk and a civil society.

I believe that I'll reap what I sew; that the real danger to all good-hearted people in rendering justice is that we'll become dirty and harden our own conscience in doing so. That is a real threat.

That said, it is less about our own self (selfish) needs/fears - or even our Religious duty - and equally about the INNOCENTS in the greater populous who WILL SUFFER horrendous consequences...because we fail to execute the swift and substantial pain to the offenders which would surely discourage such evil in them who contemplate such.

Delusional Progressives and bleeding heart Libs lament the suffering of this devil...yet THEIR POLICY enables and condemns - every single day, if not minute - innocents to be helplessly slaughtered in the most horrific scenarios.

It is utter bull*(^*( that if we have CONCRETE PROOF in regard to an atrocious murder, and render justice according to exactly that of the perpetrator's crime...that such would not discourage others to willy-nilly act out their damnable instinctual inclinations. Even the Muslims know this; check out the violent crime stats in and Islamic society.

Lend no respect...in Worldly Principle (Law)...get none. Any truly repentant murderer should willfully go to their own Judgment, instead of inflicting further damage to our Collective conscience. Let the Good Lord sort it out; He knows the heart.

Yep. And countless innocents will suffer great pain because of it. Let the 'enablers' of this bear their complicity and guilt; instead of wallowing in their misguided and high-minded narcissism.

BOOONNNNKK! Dead wrong. While there may be emotional-based screams for retribution...the real issue is utilitarian, and a matter of Justice.

And I don't refer to Justice for PAST victims, but for FUTURE innocents who will be spared because we don't step up, make sausage, and scare the devil out of those who contemplate such crimes.

I challenge anybody to refute the fact that if punishment truly was swiftly recompensed according to the suffering inflicted upon individuals/victims of the crime...that heinous crime would go way down. I've often stated that I could take a feedsack of cottonmouth moccasins and knock the bottom out of crime stats. Fear...works.

So...here's the issue. Who wants to be *merciful* to the perpetrators of heinous crime/criminals...and thereby DAMN future victims to heinous crime? Restrict deterrence...enable injustice/suffering. Step up...and bear your high-minded/misguided complicity. (But for principled Religious stands. Wherein, if one can't stand the heat, state your principled stand...then leave the kitchen).

OK, I'm against the death penalty for numerous reasons. The two big ones are cost and can't ever correct a mistake.

The first is just straight true. It is less expensive to keep someone in jail for the rest of their lives than to kill them. This is due to the costs of all the legal proceedings that have to occur before you can kill someone.

The second is pretty self evident.

But this is not about whether one is for or against the death penalty. This is about this particular death.

The guy was sleeping for must of that time. His gasping for air is something that just isn't felt by the patient any more than snoring is to a sleeping person. Now if you snore loud enough, you will wake yourself up, but he wouldn't.

I don't understand the hooplah. He is dead. He didn't feel a thing. BFD.

The problem is the guy gasped for air a bunch of times. People do this sleeping all the time. I am not sure what the gasping was for, but it seems like this will be used just to get the executions to stop when in reality unless I read otherwise the guy didn't feel a thing.

In reality this "gasping for air" seems to be more of a problem for the witnesses than anything else. So what we need to do is find a way to painlessly kill them and kill them in a way that is nonviolent and easy for people to watch.

That seems to be a bit ridiculous and over and above what is really constitutional. If we are going to get rid of the death penalty, we have lots of real reasons to debate and get rid of it. But this seems to be fluff which in reality just adds total crap to what should be a serious discussion as to its positives (if any) and negatives (which are many).

Do you care how long it took his victims to die.
Does any talking head care?

I hope the murdering SOB was in pain for two hours.

I watched another news event today. They convicted some scum bag for murdering a beautiful young black woman who was working in a convenience store. They mentioned that her body has not been found.
Maybe water boarding until he talked or died would fitting.
Maybe a Video of the event would have negative affects on the next bastard who considers such a crime.
