You are fine with torture by the state? Why do you hate the constitution?

Yes. I'm unambiguously pro-capital punishment. I'm not pro torture. We should return to hangings or the firing squad.

Firing squad or hanging is fine. But it doesn't bother me one bit how this guy died.

Not nearly as sadistic and bloodthirsty as this piece of shite who killed two people.

it takes people with cancer a lot more than 2hrs to die, even the ones who never committed murder

wtf?

they need to bring back the noose or the firing squad. It's over in seconds that way. Neat and conclusive. Everyone happy.

Frankly, anyone murdering two people deliberately deserves the death penalty. I'm only upset at how long it took to get around to it.

The guy didn't suffer. He was gorked out of his mind. So gorked his body couldn't maintain pharyngeal tone so air made noise as it traveled through his throat when he took a breath. Are people that snore when they sleep suffering?

And the lawyers filed some kind of emergency motion to stop an execution that was more halfway through. As if that would stop something that passed the point of no return a while ago.

Side note, I love how the Supreme Court is keeping this frivolous mess regarding Lethal injection drugs and protocols from catching on for the most part. They vacated a stay and denied a stay of execution in just a few short sentences yesterday. SCOTUS gives zero fricks.

Look at the orders from SCOTUS. So short it's funny.

I'm a little leery of the firing squad, to be honest. Still room to botch, simply by missing or "missing." There would need to be checks on the shooters, and I don't have any confidence checks would be enforced any more than they are now because who cares about murderers?

IMO, the guillotine is the way to go if you're going to do it. But I don't support a death penalty administered by the state.

The hangings needn't be any more public than a modern execution. This isn't medieval London. It doesn't have to be a spectacle.
