Agreed. His dad is a Catholic deacon and I'm pretty sure his mother works in the church as well. Prayers sent little man.

He was born Friday...somewhat early I believe.
Apparently it was a small miracle that he survived birth, from what someone very intimate with the situation told me. He will have to have a couple of surgeries. The road is about to be rough for them all...but faith in modern medicine and what it can do is a good thing to have right now. Best of luck to them all.

Without getting too specific, the baby was born with some various issues...and they knew of these issues several months ago during the pregnancy and knew there would have to be surgeries once he was born.

That's tough. My wife's rotations through NICU & PICU have almost pushed me to the point of not wanting kids.

I feel for matt.. very hard thing to do. Trust and family are what will bring Matt and his wife through this.

Yep, I don't twitter but I had my wife letting me know what was going on with them on friday after I heard his fill in talking about what was going on with the family that day. It was a little dusty there for a moment. Still praying for the best for them.
