I haven't seen Rec but I have Martyrs and it was fricking weird. Really different kind of idea for a horror movie...it stayed with me awhile and made me think about it

That "Rec" movie looks like a copy of quarantine

Quarantine is an American remake of Rec. Rec is greatness and makes The Conjuring look like Troll 2.

Of the recent horror films that have gotten praise on this board I would rank them
1. Sinister (scary and had evil kids)
2. Conjuring (thought acting was good and I like stories about the Warrens)
3. Insidious. Great first 2 acts but lost its way in the end, still a fun entertaining watch and Rose Byrne is fine as frick.

I'll watch any horror movie that James Wan is involved in. He is extremely talented and has put out some of the better horror films as of late.

I'm sorry, but I like the Paranormal Activity movies except for the last one that was exclusively handheld cams.
And for anyone wanting a great laugh check out Ghost Team One
It's basically Harold and Kumar meets Parnormal Activity.
