Corey Brewer? No. You'd need to send a little over $3 million and Rivers only makes $2.4.
Throw in Withey, and it works.

It would work money wise, but that doesn't mean it would be a good trade.

Indeed...that's all I meant.

I think Ryno is overrated. There, I said it.
Now that I got that off my chest, Anthony Bennett sucks a big one. GTFO.

Ryno is a pretty damn good stretch four on a great contract. To say he is a luxury for a team with AD rather than a need is one thing, but Anderson is legit.

Anderson is pretty much unmovable for this team. We would probably have to get someone along the lines of Batum or Parson, which likely won't happen.

What Ryan Anderson have you been watching? It's obviously not the right one.

Completely agree. Anderson shouldn't be moved for anything less.

The most likely trade that could happen with Ryno that would make sense in the right package would involve Jeff Green. Batum is the dream swap, but I cannot see that ever happening.

I didn't say he sucked. I just think he is overrated. He is good but I wouldn't describe him as a poor mans Love. I think he is a rich mans Steve Novak.
Its a good thing for the Pelicans IMO as long as they don't overrate him beyond what his market value is. But Anthony Bennett and Tristan Thompson is not that market. So GTFO. That's all I'm saying.

Many of you here makes him sound like he's an untouchable, I think that's what he's meaning by overrated.
He's definitely moveable, everyone is minus AD.
Issue is, you guys want to keep him because he is arguably one of the better stretch 4's in the league and he's on a good contract (not a diva either). If we can pull off a trade where he gets sent to say...Detroit, Monroe gets sent to Portland, and Batum gets sent to us, would anyone oppose? I remember earlier this FA/Offseason Portland was interested in Monroe and I'm sure SVG loves Ryno on his team (also gives the spacing needed for drummond to dominate inside).

If all we gave up was ryno and we recieved Batum for it, I think most would celebrate that trade.

The thing is, if Monty is supposed to be a Popovich protegé, with AD as our tim duncan and asik as our Splitter, then we need every ace long range shooter we can get. Ryno is one of those.
If Batum could miraculously be added to this team, keeping everyone we already had we'd be halfway to a 'ship already.
pipe dreaming

Ya because its another big piece. I honestly think I would be fine with getting something like Shumpert or Jordan Green or Q-Pon and a draft pick.

I think everyone knows, and agrees with this. But the reason I, and others, label him "untouchable", is because we aren't likely to get back what we would want for him. A guy who can shoot and rebound like that, on his contract would be difficult to replace.

I think our biggest issue is ball movement.
When Roberts was starting, offense got stagnant a whole lot. He would dribble away and then no one could get open, so he'd chuck up some random mid-range jumper.
I think Jrue should be the primary ball handler, but this team needs our bigs to dish it out and having a shooter knock down the 3. That's something we rarely even did last year.
