Well not a big fan of their RB. Also I know the regular RB poboy there is about $9, which is the norm.
Yet nobody seems to like it so obviously the value isn't there considering it's not worth one's time or money.

They also do not skimp on the poboys and they are very filling. There is no way I could finish a large poboy there.
Even a regular Peacemaker is $15 bucks. And it's incredibly bland. Same with the cochon poboy - not as expensive as the PM but equally as lacking in seasoning / flavor.

Think I might go get a club for dinner. Chicken thighs, root beer glazed ham, and bacon. Da bomb.
Enjoy. I know you say it's the "best poboy shop on Magazine," much like you claim Charcoal's is the best burger on Magazine. Guy's and La Petite are just 2 of the places that point to you being wrong.

I never said they were THE best. And I'm a big fan of LPG, I put Zelot on the burger. The problem with Guys is they are never open. Guys shrimp is one of the best in town and the RB is just ok. I find it's good cold out the fridge the next day. The beans on Monday are legit too.
Oysters brah, they ain't cheap.
I will also add since they removed the carved turkey poboy they have dropped a notch in my book.

There's nothing poor about a poboy anymore

Mahoney's used to be really good. The last time I ate there, the roast beef wasn't good at all. It was full of fat and bland, which makes me want to throw up.
Never tried Guy's. I've been meaning to.

Went to Mahoney's yesterday for first time. It was okay, but nothing great. I got a cochon and slaw, it was again, ok, but not particularly flavorful and pretty dry.
Two regular poboys (cochon, fried shrimp, two kids meals (ppj&ham and cheese) plus a small fries and two cokes was $48. Just not the bill you expect to see.
