The BR Zoo is a shell of its former self. It really needs to be closed.

I went this spring for the first time since I was a kid and they've done some nice things. It looks like they are trying to update things, but the zoo was half empty.

It has to be difficult to improve the place if that is their typical attendance. I know I'd take the family more often if wasn't located out in Baker.

I love the rural life museum, but if they took that land and made most of it a zoo, that would be pretty incredible.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

If that $40 gets you drink tickets, I could get down with that. I'd probably just drink a lot of Founders and La Folie because let's be real, it'll be hot outside, but there are worse things.

ETA: wait, it's October 10th. Not that hot and I'll be in BR for the 11th anyway. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

So next question would be is it "ticketed' or will it be like WYSE, etc.

website says general admission so I assume it's like Zapps/WYES.

ETA: they are inviting homebrewers and I'm pretty sure we are not allowed to serve at 'ticketed' events.

Sat in a meeting with the guys organizing this a few weeks ago. They want to have the same format as Zapps with $40 dollars gets u in. Plus there will be free food and live music. Told them the only way they get a huge turnout is if they invite the local brew clubs. Looks like they got the right idea

Makes sense. I guess Yeezy will have to deal with that after he hits puberty.
