I ate half of each, and returned the rest to their respective pots. I'm a sucker for a rich/heavy meal though. I'm justifying my non-use of pasta for that ;)
The squash casserole tasted like Thanksgiving. Admittedly, the two don't go together. Too much creaminess. They would both be better suited with chicken or a seafood accompanying them.

I was making both for the week because I'm trying to curb ordering out at work and when I get off work.. and both veggies were nearing expiration, so I figured I'd eat a little of both for dinner.
