I stick with AE. They fit me exactly how I want them to.

Although I buy most of my clothing at Dillard's, my jeans come mostly from Target (Wrangler relaxed) and the Levis Outlet. I spend between 16 to 22 a pair. They last for 3-5 years. And I don't like the trendy jeans with the colorful stitching, patterns on the butt, and holes/worn spots. Those look like girly jeans.

My heavily white-stitched Rock Revivals look great with my heavily white-stitched Affliction shirt...but if you want the most comfortable normal looking jeans ever made, drop $150 on a nice pair of Buffalo jeans. The denim is so freaking soft amd comfortable - unlike any other jeans I've ever worn.
ETA: Apologies to my wife and kid for my Affliction phase - I was 47 and didn't know any better.

Express and Banana Republic are my new go to's. They usually have a sale going on at one of the two

Goto Buckle and try on a few pairs. They all fit differently.
