We've all wondered what and how were things going for Jabari and we finally get the scoop from Mike T.

quote:

Greer also freely admitted that he hasn’t decided yet if he will pursue a return to the NFL at some point. Greer said that will depend both on what his body tells him and what his heart tells him.

The good news is that he seems to be training really hard to be able to make a better decision when the time comes.

Also loved this...
quote:

I brought up the triumphant return of another former Saints cornerback – Mike McKenzie – who re-signed with the Saints during the 2009 Super Bowl season and helped lead them to a huge win over the New England Patriots, nearly a year after it appeared that a major injury would end McKenzie’s career. And Greer said he just happened to be talking to McKenzie about that same subject a few days ago.

“And when I brought that up, you should’ve just seen the glow on his face,” Greer said. “He was like, ‘Yeah I balled, didn’t I?’ and I said, ‘You did, you did.’ And he came out off the street, and he was the player of the game. It was ridiculous.”

So there is a chance it seems...a chance

That's the exact role I see him playing. If someone goes down during the season, or even if he's just feeling really good, we pick him back up.

We love to see him back even if it's just for one game

One of my favorite Saints over the past 5-6 years. Saw him his first day of training camp and he was so quick and was just flying to the ball. I knew he would be a good one.

Hope he makes it back and the Saints pick him up. Pulling for him.

McKenzie got some hate in his later years but totally redeemed himself in that game

Love that guy! He has been a great Saint since his arrival, and it sucks donkey dicks the way his time here and career possibly ended on one play.

Hopefully he can rehab and come back as a role player and get a second ring!

might be my 2nd favorite interception in saints history because of who it was and how he got it

One of my favorite moments as a Saints fan was seeing Mike Mckenzie get signed off the street to pick off Tom Brady on Monday Night Football

Yup, I'll never forget this. Almost knocked my pregnant wife over when I jumped up and started running around.

I remember watching that giants game and looking over at her. She had this very resigned look on her before heading to her room

Didn't Mike almost have another pick in that game?

She's tried to watch games with me, but she says the constant starting and stopping bores her. Womenz.

I also remember that Chris Mcallister was signed that year mid season and he helped make some plays against Washington. I always wondered if he got a Super Bowl ring.
