Provence rose wines are my favorite overall. Well balanced and super complex. Really a treat for this heat. I pour two by the glass right now, one Italian rose which is great and another from palmina in Cali.

Is the Palmina the Boatsea? I like Palmina pretty much across the board, but didn't care for the vintage of the rose I had, which really surprised me. Is it Nebbiolo?

RC brother, go over to Keife & Co. and talk to Jim or John. tell them what you're looking for in a rose and what price point you want and they'll take care of you. that's pretty much the only way I buy wine now.

I'm curious to know if anyone knows of any drinking establishments around with some good Roses besides wine shops.

It is the 2013 botasea. 50% dolcetto and 25% each barbera and Nebbiolo.

Yeah, had a nice Rose at Borgne last week. Just thinking of somewhere to go after work, say on a Friday with a couple friends to chill. Domenica fits. Not really the Link spots, coquette and le petite, while I love those places.

Delachaise might have some good choices. Although their wines are often at too warm a temperature and their glassware annoys me.
