I have only been once, did a quick weekend trip about a month ago. McGuires is great for hamburgers. We also ate at Hemingways which is to your left right after you get off the toll bridge, I thought is was pretty damn good for a Florida seafood place.

I like to go to Flounder's and Sidelines. Peg Leg Pete's is okay too.

Dharma Blue
Tres fratelli is next door.
Both are in historic Pensacola, not along the beach.
I also pick up seafood from Joe Patti's and cook.

2 solid selections. Global Grill is a great place too.

For nothing but an Irish Wake. There is plenty of great food in Pensacola that isn't so gimmicky (no offense, I see why people like it).

1. Joe Patti's for fresh fish and shrimp (and lobster, crab, oysters, etc.) to cook. The Ahi tuna is fantastic and the salmon and yellowtail will melt in your mouth. Also get some sushi and gelato while you're there, you won't be disappointed.
2. Tuscan Oven for great pizza and great appetizers in a family style restaurant. Homemade all the way through, and the creamy parm sauce...
3. Peg Leg Pete's for great oysters... the Rockefeller are great.
4. Ozone's Pizza Pub for a great vibe in a creepy/cool place. It's in the morgue of an abandoned hospital. The pizza is pretty good but the vibe is what you'll really like.
5. The Grand Marlin... delicious food for a decent price. Can get a little expensive.
6. Four Winds International Market for some great Mediterranean... don't let the owner talk you into buying everything. He will try.
Those are some spots that locals go to that you won't hear about too much (excluding Joe Patti's and Grand Marlin).

Hip Pocket Deli. Best place to get a sandwich in the Panhandle of Florida. The entire menu is can't miss. They are only open from 10-2 though.

1. joe patti's
you can eat sushi in the seafood market
there's also a restaurant not attached to the market. it's about 1/2 block southwest of the market, on the back side of the parking lot. pretty good fried food. huge portions for the price. i recommend the fried grouper.
2. mcguire's
get the hamburger or steak. and the 18 cent soup. really excellent beef. be careful when you go to the bathroom
for a city the size of pensacola, the food is pretty bad.

Fish House is solid.
Hopjacks is a great bar, and the duck fat fries are pretty damn good.
Flounders is pretty decent. Fish Nachos are cheap and huge.
One that hasn't been said yet is Jacksons. A little nicer, but awesome food.
Obriens Bistros Grouper Lyonnaise is one of my favorite dishes anywhere.

Doesn't even have local seafood for the most part. Try Maria's seafood.
