You will get no argument from me there. Vettes are a thing of beauty. If you can't get pussy in a vette then you are dead or a gay man. Vipers are straight up vicious. I drove a new stingray about a month ago. For the price that thing handles like doodie. Now going in a straight lines or gentle curves. Ill take it. Euro cars re hands down better when it comes to handling than American cars, 95%>5%.... EU>AM. Our cars are made for a different type of driver. We had a low end 420 in our shop that the owner let us drive. frick me runing that thing was awesome. Damn near all of the BMW's and Merc. handle better than any Cadillac or SUV or sedan that I have ever driven.

To be honest... I don't think you know completely what you're talking about.

Before I had my 911, I had this 2010 Transformers Edition Camaro. It was one of only 546 manual 6-speed TE Camaros made that year. That car was badass - 426 hp. I still miss it. Don't get me wrong, I love the Porsche, especially when I'm doing track days at NOLA. But even though the Porsche will put up better times in a 1/4 mile, the Camaro just felt faster. It had so much raw power and torque, you could just feel it push you back in the seat every time you punched it. Before I bought it, when I did a test drive I had my sunglasses sitting on top of my head. When I nailed the accelerator, my glasses flew into the back seat (and that was an automatic that I test drove). I knew I was buying one instantly. After having it for 3 years, it never got old. My wife hated riding with me because I'd fishtail it around turns all the time like Dukes of Hazzard. I really wanted to keep that car another couple years for my kid when he turns 16, but my wife wouldn't let him have it because of the power.

It really is. Went to a vette show a couple weeks ago and traded rides, his '14 and my '69 and for those few minutes I was ready to give mine away. There was no comparison.

Camaros aren't trashy. V6 Camaros are trashy. SS and above is okay.

If Am cars were that great then you would see a at least 1-2 more on that list.

Fwiw, many manufactures don't release their Nurburgring times. Although this is across the board.

A very lightly used C6Z06 vette is the very obvious answer in that price range IMO.

It far outperforms everything else in that price slot.

While everyone has talked American

The Nissan 370z is a hell of a value and the 2014 NISMO is up to 350hp.

I picked up a slightly used Audi SQ5 within the price parameters. It's a 2014 and easily fits within the hp requirements and is one fast little SUV. I'm liking it a lot. It's an enjoyable car to drive.

The current edition of the Mustang GT will be the best bang for your buck in your price range. It handles just as well as an M3 now, its more of a track car than a drag strip machine.

The Buick GNX may be a good option too.
