Could seriously be their undoing. He is terrible.

Croatia was the better team today. The reffing was so blatantly one sided it was a joke. Oscar was the only Brazilian worth a shite. If they don't improve they will get rolled by four or five other teams in the tournament.

They will. They´ve thoroughly scouted and adopted the Spanish evolutionary program of starting at high double digits of efficacy, in order to peak in quarters.

It´s the blatant pressure on this ref, clearly apparent in how he called the match from the beginning (and how they were getting on him, both Scolari and the players on the pitch, when Croatia was getting ´stuck in´ but not dirty or blatant), which lead to his comfortably acquiescing to what he saw as his ´out´, that is so disconcerting.

Paulhino is terrible and so is Gustavo. There are 6 teams in the tournament with better CMs and 20 with better keepers. They will not win it.

I don't think they're that bad. Scolari pushing Oscar out wide didn't help either of them. I don't even know what to think about Cesar

Overall, that was a really weird performance

If they keep relying on Hulk, Paulinho, and that bombscare defense, they'll be fricked against a decent squad and competent refereeing.

Hulk and Paulinho was really bad, but I think Scolari saw that early. The defense is always going to be a shitshow with Luiz and Alves in it. They should seriously consider going to three at the back because Alves doesn't really want to defend.

Oh.

I still say Paulinho is shite and a coward.

They appear to me that the trophy is a right to possess. There are teams with better attacks, mid fields and keepers in this tournament. Germany would have carved them a new a-hole today.

Paulinho

He looks the part though. He seems like he has the athleticism and technique to be really good, or rather, he should be better than he is considering his technical and athletic abilities, but he just isn't.

Are you talking about Paulinho or Hulk?

Ha, I suppose that could apply to both of them, but I was talking about Paulinho there.

Well, he does play for Tottenham.

They weren't the best team on the pitch today. Croatia should have pushed Rakitic forward earlier.

If Croatia had a real left winger they would have won. Kovacic didn't do anything. Rakitic should have started there.

Agreed. They could have taken it to the Brazilians. Now they need to struggle against Mexico and Cameroon. I really hope Croatia makes it out of group. Manduzic could have been the difference today.

That's not true

I can only assume this is a hyperbole

That doesn't even make sense, they can't get steamrolled by four or five teams . They'd be eliminated already

He looked like he was coming off of a week-long coke binge

Maybe Brazil won't blow their load during the national anthem next game

He was just as bad against Serbia in the warm-up match.
