I'm on the maybe list - After Foo/Slayer/Fuel, there's not much on there I've listened to. I'm betting Foo will play Sat night, so I won't have to take time off from work.

Rescheduling vacation. Damn it.

Aside from Slayer, this is your typical 2014 festival lineup. Voodoo is becoming extremely run of the mill.

I am surprised at the lack of veteran NOLA acts like George Porter Jr, Anders Osborne, Galactic, funky Meters, 101 Runners, Papa Gros, etc....

They do have younger guys like Trombone Shorty and Naughty Professor but I wonder why no older guys.

Everyone has the same lineup for a reason...*HINT* It's not because they all want similar lineups.

They have the usual suspects from Nola, but I'm not going to go out of my way to make it... I should be out of La by then

You mean why they don't have older, established musicians that don't want to play to the dub step crowd?

I wish man (will be getting DTed for work anyway)

I should find out if I get in school in St. Maarten mid August... If I don't then I'm getting a job. So wherever the money is for an engineer that is not BR.

I wish New Orleans or Baton Rouge could get more of a Jam band or blue grass type festival. I would love it if we could move away from these dub step/ electronic concerts.

You should make the trip to Telluride's.

ETA: Riot Fest up here also has no dub/edm garbage and an awesome lineup.

Not exactly a high profile festival but Captain Green will be hosting a little camping festival with a bunch of local artists next year.

If I would still be here I would definitely go. It looked pretty cool from the pictures I saw

I'd go for Foo Fighters, Slayer, and Melvins but I'm sure they'll all be playing on different days.

Yeah but I don't remember why I was canceled.

It's great to see Capt. Green get some recognition now. Playing Bear Creek will help as well. I really with they would bring back their guitarist
