Yeah I was talking more about a festival in Nola or br like Harvest fest, Phases of the Moon, or Interlocken.

Voodoo hasn't been a relevant festival in years and they sure as shite aren't ramping up this year.

Take all of the Wednesday at the Square bands and you'll have a better festival than this nonsense.

That poster is fake if it makes you feel better. That festival was damn fun this year minus the fact there isn't a banjo within 2000 miles of it so the music board hates it.

There isn't a venue to host it and camping in the south blows Won't ever happen.

I wasn't talking about the experience. I was talking about the music. A festival just with those kinds of bands that would be in br or Nola.

The experience goes hand and with with the music.

Otherwise you get meh shows (see Jazzfest)

That is due to outdated sound equipment and poor venue grounds, not a lack of camping.

its all tied into the experience, mon.

If a venue sucks, it will reflect through the artists performances. Camping abilities tie into that. If camping is good it adds a good vibe to the venue.

I get that camping is a part of those festivals. But you could still have just as good music being played while not having to camp.

No

You really think the band gives a single frick about if the fans are camping or not?

Epic shows happen at shitty venues all the time.

I'm talking about adding a different vibe to the venue.

How are you not grasping that?

Maybe it adds to your personal vibe. I know a lot of people that would much rather see a show indoors, sleep in their own bed, and not have to deal with all the bs that goes with camping.

I get that a band often feeds off the crowd's energy, but insinuating that camping leads to better shows is just wrong. The majority of legendary shows have taken place at one-offs, not festivals.

We are talking about festivals are we not?

All I'm saying is that camping festivals, for jam shows, are way better than non because of the vibe and energy of the crowd.

No shite regular shows are better than festivals.
