Fuel line issue ( primer bulb collapsing)

Gents,
While running my engine slowly loses fuel flow and dies. The bulb is collapsed. I reprime and run a bit longer (5-10 minutes at a time) before the same thing happens again.
Brand new gas tank and fuel line assembly.
I'm guessing some sort of ventilation issue, but not sure where to begin after the tank and fuel line.
Thoughts?

definitely a ventilation problem. unscrew the gas cap and see if it works right.
is it a plastic portable tank or a permanent tank.
if portable the gas cap is bad or has a vent on top of it you unscrew

Thanks for the reply.
I tried running with the cap loose and completely off. Tank actually has a small vent built in near the fuel line connection. Thought maybe it wasn't enough , so did the cap thing.
Made no difference.
Edit: plastic tank

Check for inline filter on the motor, possibly it need to be clean or change.

No inline filter.
Pulled the face off of a screen type filter and it was really clean.
That's about where I stopped...hahahaha

is there a filter on the pickup tube in the gas tank?...if so, that may be the issue...
if not, I would say that there is an air leak somewhere in the fuel system (sucking air in somewhere between the fuel tank and the motor...change the o-ring sealing the filter screen on the motor...

No filter on the pickup tube.
Okay, I'll look Into that.
Thanks!

make sure the fuel flow of the bulb is correct

All good there, but I could see how that may get overlooked...that whole forest for the trees thing. Appropriate for the Outdoor Board, indeed.

pull the bulb off and run it without it and see what happens

Check the Fuel pump diaphragm
Fished with one like that for months before we found the problem.
Called it our Evinrude pump-n-go

Okay, will try.
Thing is , this has happened with 2 other fuel lines and two other tanks.
Tried the two pronged fuel line connection and the spray free, as well.

Swap the bulb out. I've seen brand new ones fail on maiden voyage

Hahahahha...strangely enough, it IS an Evinrude.
I'm betting this is the problem.

Take the bulb out of the line and put the tank higher than the motor and try that. If it runs the bulb is the problem.

sounds like the bulb or the entire fuel line is on backwards.
or
Is this one of those newfangled lines with the round fuel demand valve? If so, cut that out of the line. I put a new fuel line on my boat which had one of those round fuel demand valves and it choked out my motor. I took the valve out of the line and it continues to run perfectly.
