if you are doing a bourbon tasting, no ice...

If you are Drinking bourbon, Ice is fine...

If someone says something, punch their gay arse in the mouth, and tell them to shave their hipster beard off their f*cking face and to lose the Payne Stewart hat.

I'll be opening this tomorrow to celebrate my son being born.

And yes, if you can find any BTAC, four roses limited edition, pappy or van Winkle bottles, those would be nice. Not sure Broke is going to find that by this weekend.

I'm pretty sure bourbon is whiskey, as long as we are correcting one another.

Maker's Mark, I used to drink Jack exclusively, but that Black Label Jim Bean is good. Gentlemen's Jack is smooth.

See if you can pick up a bottle of Jack Daniel's Sinatra or Crown Royal Cask no. 16 is good too.

broke, do whatever you want. but if you don't drink often, a bottle of george dickel 12 is what i'd get. but ultimately it comes down to whatever tastes best to you.

Dickel is a whisky (no e). it's also technically a bourbon. as we all should know, tennessee whiskey can be a bourbon, but not many bourbons can be tennessee whiskey.

What's trashier-drinking high dollar whiskey on the rocks or paying cash for gasoline?

I already stated that I know nothing about it really. So I've decided to pick up 1 bottle of George Dickel and one bottle of Woodford. That should last me a while.

I think it's the other way around. To be a Bourbon a whiskey has to be produced in Kentucky. If it's made anywhere else, like Tennessee for example, it cannot call itself a bourbon. This is why Jack Daniels is called sour mash whiskey instead of bourbon.

ETA: I don't think it's actually a "law" that bourbon is made in only Kentucky, rather more of a tradition in the industry.

Evan Williams is great barrel deserves a look, Broke. I'm not a huge fan of the EW black label, but the single barrel is one of my favorite bottles around $25.
