Benzema to Arsenal, please let this happen.
Not going to happen if we get Carvalho and Sokratis, due to homegrown rules or some bullshite that's meant to "save" the British game.

Real Madrid probably can't afford (depth-wise) to let anyone go at this point.

We could easily sell Poldi if we got another attacker, unfortunately that isn't happening

Wouldn't that only give Real 2 Cf? Doubt they're parting with anyone.

There's been a lot of chatter today that Negredo is off to Valencia and Falcao is on his way to City.
Though it's possible his agent is trying to push for a bigger salary from Real.
At least this will keep the end of the window interesting.

Marcos Rojo's Manchester United debut is being held up by claims of a row with a neighbour in Argentina in 2010.
The 24-year-old completed a £16m switch from Sporting Lisbon 11 days ago but a criminal investigation means he is yet to obtain the required working visa.
However, United manager Louis van Gaal is confident Rojo will be in his squad for the Premier League match against QPR on 14 September.
It had been reported issues over third-party ownership were behind the delay.
But the Football Association has already issued his international transfer certificate and has no concerns over ownership issues.
Rojo entered the UK to complete his move to United on a tourist visa.
Immigrations laws require that those entering the country to work do so with a working visa. Rojo is currently in Madrid awaiting an interview with embassy staff to secure the document. Officials will examine details of the alleged altercation with a neighbour in 2010 before issuing the working visa.

Is Kagawa back to Dortmund official?
Posted on 8/31/14 at 10:15 am to etm512
Yes, it's official. The fee I've seen is 8million euros, which is just woeful. But it's good to see him go back to his old team. He'll boss again in Dortmund's system. United fans will hate it didn't work out and wish him all the best.

Did he just never get a chance or did he fail to impress when he did? I knew once Mata was signed, he was done...

He never really got a consistent run of games in his preferred number 10 role. But he played under 3 different United managers who opted not to start him there. When we signed RVP that summer, it made it hard to play Kagawa over him and Rooney. Then signing Mata squeezed him out even further. It meant he got used as a winger most of the time, or came on as a sub.
I always loved watching him play. He's so technical and gifted on the ball. I do think his style is better suited for the German or Italian game though.
ETA: good win for the Scousers today. Moreno looks to be a great signing, and you all look ready to score plenty of goals again this season

yeah...
Interestingly enough, a 3-4-1-2 is usually better suited to the counter attack... I think he would be better at that than Mata, but I understand why he's picked ahead of him and realize this formation may only be temporary...
Yeah, thats the reason we bought Moreno... tough match at the Etihad last week, but he bounced back well..

I know, right. They could give him the kind if service he needs to flourish but wouldn't expect him to get the playing time he wants. Wonder if that leaves Falcao heading for City?
Posted on 8/31/14 at 12:01 pm to WarSlamEagle
What if Falcao goes to Bayern? Don't stop believing
Posted on 8/31/14 at 2:04 pm to WarSlamEagle
If city gets falcao I'll piss myself with excitement. Kun, falcao, dzeko, jovetic, negredo. Holy shite
