I am not in the group that thinks Robinson is ready to be a 20+ min guy. I am thinking
Hickey
Gray
Hornsby
Martin
Mickey
But I agree that the lineup you have will see the floor together.

Where the heck was he going to go? Europe?

Possibly. Maybe D-League and look for a few 10 day contracts. Either way, glad he's coming back.

And if Quarterman keeps progressing, I wouldn't be surprised if Hickey comes off the bench

I got a question for ya, SoS. It's quite off topic but it is the off-season afterall...
What differences do you see in Hornsby and Gray's games? Is Gray more of a volume shooter whereas Hornsby is more of a 3 point specialist with the ability to drive to the goal if needed?

I did think Quarterman progressed at the end of the season, but I think we saw that this experiment that you layed out failed when JJ tried it beginning of last season.

Quit pretending like you know or care about basketball. You're not fooling anyone.

You really do? Well then I'll retract my statement. I thought Epps was going to be a project as he is still very raw.
Epps is built a lot like Jarrel. He'll be able to get up and down the court and play 3/4 well. He's also long and athletic. That's why he'll fit more.
He's still a raw player, but he'll be a good piece. He'll be able to space the floor a bit as well because he has a decent jump shot.

Gray was a volume shooter in JUCO because he was by far the best player on the team. He is a combo PG/SG that will give LSU another PG type player on the court. He will likely shoot around 38% from three and 75% from the FT line. He is quick and will be a bit taller than Stringer in a similar role.
Hornsby is more combo'd toward the front court. He has a very powerful build and looks like he can physically play with anyone. He has a very nice shot. It's quick. However, Hornsby should spend most of his time driving to the hoop or cutting to the basket without the ball. He got 2nd in the dunk contest this year at LSU for a reason. He has hops. Plus 93% free throw shooting is about as solid as can be.

For everyone who didn't like how the offense had to slow down and go thru JOB, that is exactly what LSU would be like with Robinson. Obviously we wouldn't force it down to him due to having much less skill than JOB, but things aren't as open because he isn't the athletic, fast paced guy.
Epps reminds me more of Mickey/Martin in that he has size but gets up and down really well.
Robinson could end up being a great ball player but he has some weight issues which I am hearing he is clearing up and Im hoping that leads to better effort because at times he took plays off in HS.
