I dont see how this team isnt minimum 3-4 wins better than last year.
These pieces fit much better into the whole than last years. The overall talent might only be slightly higher but we had some square pegs from the previous regime fitting into the round holes for this one.
Our pace this upcoming year is gonna be fast and athletic and much less of feeding it to JOB and stand around watching.

Totally agree that this team fits better. We will have post presence and outside shooters. Out perimeter guys can actually go inside.
I'm excited with the team next year.

I also think we can expect major improvements from all the freshman. JOB improved greatly in one year, and these guys have just as much or even higher ceiling.

i still think martin is going to make a giant leap

UK just got word that Dakari Johnson will return too...
They are gonna be so good next year. Holy shite.

Not convinced Hornsby is a starter. See him as bench scorer.
I don't see how Robinson doesn't start. Martin is a three, period. He's a three who needs to improve, but he doesn't have the mentality to be a full time four. Mickey does.
This team will go as Mickey and Martin go.
And I wouldn't be shocked if Quarterman improves and finds a way to supplant Hickey, though I'm a huge Hickey fan and think he'll remain a starter. The staff is so high on TQ though, and his ceiling is higher than Hick's.

yea i see KH as a natural, bigger replacement for stringer in that role.

I am not in the group that thinks Robinson is ready to be a 20+ min guy. I am thinking
He'll probably start even if he's not ready for a huge minutes burden. Hell, Tuba started. Robinson would eat, digest, and shite out Tuba, and that's not a slight to a kid who improved as much as any basketball player I've ever seen anywhere. Robinson is just a legit one and done prospect with massive potential.

I don't understand why people can be a Gray fan over Hornsby to be honest...
Im excited for both, but I think Hornsby is gonna be the real deal. A guy that can shoot as well as he can but can also go inside, drive to the hoop, and finish around the rim is scary exciting to me.

Have you watched a lot of film on him? I watched about 4 of his games and never got that impression of him. Maybe I just so happen to watch 4 off-games, but I didn't see a one and done guy. I saw a guy that was a 3-4 year player who needed a lot of work on his offensive skillset.

Kinda hard to compare the two scenarios. Tuba pretty much HAD to start.

I'm just repeating what I've heard from the staff itself and a couple NBA scouts. They think he's a 1 and done threat. Doesn't mean he is, necessarily.

I mean no mention of Ben Simmons coming in?

Just emphasizing that Jones wants length and size on the floor as much as possible.
