Girls need to take the pill everyday, and preferably at the same time (or close to the same time) everyday. I know my girlfriend takes it every night when she goes to sleep, which is almost always between 10:30 and midnight.
When you get into trouble is when stupid girls forget and think just taking them both the next day is ok, but really she just increased her chances of getting pregnant.
Also there is a lot of debate about whether antibiotics decrease the effectiveness of the pill, and most doctors say no. But it is still risky IMO

The doctor I asked told me they have no relationship to the pill's effectiveness and that it's all about the girl forgetting to take it.
