Neighbors wife comes running screaming that a snake is in her house and her husband is gone. I go in there and found what looks like a king snake. Long story short, the husband comes home and we catch it, but didn't kill it. Pretty interesting afternoon. The wife's reaction was priceless. I don't know how to post pictures but I can email them to someone.

My wife would already have the crib up for sale and we'd be living in a hotel by now.

Seems like half the people in the outdoor board don't know how to post pics.

For some odd reason the first thing that popped into my head when I read the title of this thread was porno music.

I really need to spend less time on the O-T Lounge.

Gorgeous snake. Not a king snake, but still a very beneficial chicken/rat snake.

Good job not killing him. Those snakes keep down the rodent population. My only concern now is why was it inside? Chasing a rat maybe...

That is one seriously big rat snake. A real pretty one at that.

That one is a keeper for sure, and kudos for not killing it.

You definitely want that one around your place...bet it's a high-volume mouse eating machine!

eta: any pics of the neighbor's wife?

No way I'd have picked that thing up.........I'd probably have holes in my walls from the shotgun blast

My wife was staying with a friend whose husband was off to Vegas. They call me and say there's a snake in her friends garage behind the washer, dryer. I cruise over and rangle the snake out with a garden hoe. About a 4 foot mocassin.
