Cleveland continues to try to build on their young offense with the hometown back in Carlos Hyde.

Career Overview: Carlos Hyde can be considered among the top running backs in Ohio State history ... tough and durable, he owns the best yards per carry average for a career (6.1), single season (7.3 in 2013) and game (10.2 vs. Illinois in 2013) ... he has the sixth-most rushing yards in school history - 3,198 - and a handful of rushing Top 5 career or single season totals, including career rushing touchdowns (4th with 37), career touchdowns (4th with 41), season per game rushing average (5th at 138.3 ypg in 2013) and season and career 100-yard games (5th with nine in 2013 and 16 overall, respectively) ... played four years (2010-13) for the Buckeyes with 41 games played and 20 starts ... averaged 112.1 rushing yards per game in his 20 starts with 26 touchdowns scored ... majoring in African-American and African studies.

Personally I think he may be a bust, but that fits the Browns just fine.

The owner is worried more about the wow factor on offense and drawing fans, wins and defense be damned. The guy is a crook and likes money.

Back is listed as one of their top 3 needs(and they definitely need one). Owner is trying to win fans first and games second.

Don't buy that at all.

Media does not equal reality. I think Lacy playing very well will have someone wanting to jump early this year.

It also means Seahawks won't go for Hill because they saw the Browns as a high probability of taking him in the second(which is another reason I went Hill). With Hyde they won't take Hill.

I don't care if it's not an urgent need.

I vote Tim Jernigan.

I'm putting personal bias into this because I have to rank the players somehow, but I think Hill will be a legit back and Hyde may be a bust.

Cleveland seems like the type of team to not do all their homework and be more likely to pick a bust.

Martavis Bryant WR Clemson is the pick here. Its the pick because you really have to think long term here.

Grubbs is just ok, and we need his cap space after next year.
