Cool Story Bro Monday RE: Armstead

Stopped into Subway for lunch and saw a guy behind me wearing an Arkansas Pine-Bluff Football polo. Curiosity got the best of me and just had to ask if he worked with Armstead at all. Told me his son plays for them as a WR and KR and got him the shirt. I told him as a Saints fan we were all basically scratching our heads wondering who this guy was, but we couldn't be happier with how he turned out. Also said Armstead was real nervous his first time out but settled in really nicely down the stretch.
Have to say, I think he's gonna be a great one for us and it was cool to talk with a guy who knew him from his home school.

Cool story. Yeah, I think Armstead is going to be a real force for us once he absorbs the game. The physical talents are obviously there, he just has to keep developing mentally and learning the schemes and assignments.

Armstead works out at my gym during the off season. Tried to steal the squat rack. Had to tell him hold up a minute, got a set left.
