See that's why I'm just buying a scarf.....they are like $30 at the game vs what $70 on up for a jersey?

I went to the last US game here a couple years ago(they played Argentina or Venezuela...can remember). Waited too long and the scarves sold out.

With a scarf you can get away with wearing a white top and not look like a terrorist.

What's wrong with blue though? Blue is my favorite color and I happen to have a blue sweater I've never worn yet.

PREDICTION:

Cakes sends in a good cross and gets the assist. He (re)confirms he is still legit.

Yedlin dribbles the ball across the whole pitch, runs the ball in.

Green shoots and scores from the center line with 1 min left in regular time.

USA 3 - MEX 0

Mexico then hires Will Ferrel as their new manager.

Why does it seem like, with every USMNT match, Donovan has to prove that he still has it when it's been clear since coming back from the sabbatical that he is still one of our top players?

Mexico already announced theirs.

I doubt we see ours until 2 hours or so before kickoff.

I don't think he needs reconfirmation either, but it seems that the new media and game commentators always mention this. His name is still "in question" to make the 23 squad according to a very few (and retarded) new sites. He is easily in the top 4 most important players for this world cup. I think he will shine this world cup with good passes and a couple goals.

Why is this match starting at 10pm CDT? And why is there nothing on ESPN, USA Today, CBS Sports, etc. front page about this match?

Only soccer headline mentioned is something about Barcelona signing underage players.

It's a friendly outside of an official international date. Mexico or not, it's not going to get a lot of press and is certainly less newsworthy than Barcelona being banned from making transfers for two windows.
