I know a lot of guys who exaggerate their service record but I've never met anyone who was busted for falsely claiming to have served.

Yeah I did a few years ago. This clown wore t-shirts with "Special Ops" on it & combat boots and I called him out...IN PUBLIC. He started rambling all kinds of shite about how he did this and that & everything he said was complete BS. Why do soldiers always have to bring up there fallen comrades? The guy was 100% in the right for calling him out, but I hate seeing guys mentioning their fallen friends among people in a public setting.
