Mock Draft BS- Odell Beckham is not a good return man

Did any of you watch any of LSU's games? Odell was a great WR for LSU but he is not even close to being a full time KR in the NFL.
He may have ability as PR, but he only had 1 great KR all year long- against Bama.
He padded his stats against weak teams and time and time again was stopped before the 25. Remember in CFB, a touchback gives you the ball at the 25.
The Saints should not and will not draft OBJ in the 1st. Jarvis >>>> OBJ anyway and wouldn't cost a first round pick.
Get your heads out of your arse

I don't understand people saying Landry will be a better pro than ODB.
I think pro teams look at the players ceiling.
I don't think there is even a question as to which player has more upside (not knocking on Landry). I think ODB will go at least 32 picks before Landry.
Bigger hands, more burst, faster. Name one advantage Landry has over ODB...

I agree...Beckham is built better for the NFL, imo.

Landry is better at attacking the ball in the air. He catches just about anything thrown his way, even if the CB on him is fighting for it.

Run blocking, doesn't drop passes, stronger, catches in traffic, etc.
I'd rather Jarvis.
Just my opinion though.
And yeah Odell is an athlete and we had games against tough competition but honestly I never was super impressed about his return ability. I look at is as more of potential than already carved in stone skill set like some do.

This is my argument as well. I think OBJ offers more versatility as a football player, and as such will grade higher in the draft. He also has a lot of big play potential with his freakish athletic abilities and natural talent, his great hands and natural ball location skills. I think Landry is a better route runner than OBJ, and as posted above, more competitive for the ball. Those things are technique, and Landry has probably had to work on those things to be competitive up until this point. I agree that OBJ has a higher ceiling though.

...get the best of both worlds with Cooks

I have watched LSU's games, in fact I have watched every single game ODB has played. Get the ball in his hands and he will make a play, I also think people underrate his catching ability just because Jarvis was so good at it.

Well Mayock has Jarvis ranked as the 5th overall WR, ahead of OBJ....... apples and oranges.

It's amazing what combines can do to good players. Definitely can make or break a player.
OBJ is a tremendous athlete, but I found that he doesnt locate the ball very well and would drop easy passes. Of course, his athleticism helped him out on errant throws from Mett and let him make SC Top plays.
Landry seems to be the pro wr out of the two. I see him producing like Alshon Jeffery.
OBJ has the upside of Antonio Brown, but could bust like Ginn Jr., which as a homer, I hope doesnt happen to him.

Landry has great hands and works hard at running precise routes, but he doesn't have elite size or speed. In the grand scheme of things, that limits his potential some.
OBJ has great speed and good hands. This makes him more of an asset to an NFL team.
It's all about potential.
Both should be good pro's. I don't see anything wrong with the scouting assessments I've read.
