Why is my toilet bubbling?

After a flush all is fine. Then two minutes later it starts bubbling for a minute or two. Then stops.
Do I need to get all roto rooted or what?

Your vent may be stopped up. could be snow, ice, bird nest, could go onto roof and run a tape down it to see.
Edited to add; Never considered subterranean farts.
Still suspect stopped up vent.

Yes...I would recommend it before they over flow

Truly one of the most under-rated inventions ever.

The snake that is making its way up your pipe is causing bubbles.

There is an alien in the pipes below. Move out while you still can.

Happened to me a few months ago. It means your line is clogged up and it's only going to get worse.

could always flush a couple of cherry bombs down the drain.

Are you on sewer or septic tank? If sewer then line out to street maybe clogged. If on a septic tank you may need to have the tank pumped or worse have that and a new drain field. Keep us post on solution.

It's sewer. I think I'll go rent a roto machine and see how that all works.

Go take the cap off of the sewer line that runs to your house. shite is about to back up in your house.

Go ahead and scoff everyone, but the girl who discovered my college roommate's lost python staring up at her inside the toilet was not amused.

Ventilation issue. Your aerator is still kicking and the air has nowhere to go.

The Blob is going to shoot out of it and consume you when you're shitting.

Theres a large puddle of warm water near the clean out. Opened the clean out and tp and turds came out. Got a plumber on the way. Fml

You're lucky that wasn't in your bathroom. That's what the cleanout is for.
